Square CEO and Twitter Founder Jack Dorsey outlines how he "edits" his company for success in this excellent 4 minute video from Stanford:
- Right people.
- Clear and consistent communication.
- Editing money story - revenue or investment.
I love when Dorsey talks about getting every detail perfect and how that takes care of everything else. I quibble with "perfect" because what is perfect? Perfect is so time sensitive.
I like early and ugly and then listening, but I don't think we are saying different things. My "early and ugly" implies all the knowable "perfection" we have at the time. That idea could be changed to "early and perfect" too.
